MAURITANIA | Technical Assistance for the PADEM Project
The French Development Agency (AFD) and the European Union (EU) are co-financing the Project to Support the Development of Entrepreneurship in Mauritania (PADEM). This project aims in particular to strengthen the institutional capacities of public structures in charge of employment and entrepreneurship, while promoting the emergence of an ecosystem conducive to supporting and financing entrepreneurs. It is implemented by the National Employment Agency (TECHGHIL), with Red Mangrove, Nouvelle Vision and Initiative International providing technical assistance for project management:
- Support for the transition from the MPMA project to Techghil; Support for the establishment of the PADEM PMU;
- Support for the establishment of an entrepreneurship desk within Techghil
- Support for the establishment of honour loan platforms (ideation, creation, structuring of platforms and support).
