GUINEA | Design and implementation of pathways to employment and entrepreneurship within vocational training centres supported by PAIED/FP
As part of Enabel’s Programme to Support Integration and Decent Employment through Vocational Training (PAIED/FP), Red Mangrove has designed and implemented structured pathways to salaried employment or entrepreneurship in three vocational training centres, with a strong focus on gender, the involvement of public and private actors, and sustainability through local capacity building.
In more detail, we have:
- Designed a structured support pathway, combining awareness-raising, guidance towards employment or entrepreneurship, and the organisation of a competition to select and support high-potential projects;
- Implemented support sessions for young people, including modules on transferable skills, management, financing, and individualised post-training coaching;
- Strengthened the capacities of VET teaching teams through methodological tools and training aimed at ensuring the sustainability of the programme;
- Developed a monitoring and evaluation system incorporating qualitative and quantitative indicators, individualised monitoring tools, and capitalisation periods to adjust the programme and measure its impact.
