Ivory Coast | SME competitiveness study

Red Mangrove conducted for the World Bank, the Ministry of Industry and IOS Partners a study on the competitiveness of Ivorian companies, with the aim of providing the Government with an action plan to carry out reforms for private sector development and post-crisis economic recovery. The work consisted in determining the competitive positions of Ivorian companies in relation to their competitors in WAEMU, ECOWAS, Africa, Asia and Latin America, identifying the endogenous and exogenous factors of this competitiveness and determining their weight. Red Mangrove also proposed measures to correct the constraints and strengthen the identified assets, as well as identified the measures able to maintain and improve these competitive positions in a context of global changes. We have also defined a matrix and a timeline of actions.
